Hear the lions of Hogwarts roar here in the Gryffindor Tower. Cozy, warm, rich and elegant are words that can describe the Gryffindor Tower. Decorated in crimson and gold, the Gryffindor Common Room is filled with couches made of velvet and satin that are comfortable enough to sleep in. At night a roaring fire that many students swear looks like a lion head, dances in the fireplace while students read and toast marshmallows. To the right is the boys dorms and to the left is the girls dorms. The Gryffindor Tower has a magnificent view of the school grounds, specifically the Black Lake.

The ravens of Hogwarts rest their wings here in the Ravenclaw Tower, which is furnished in a light and airy manner. The couches are soft shades of blue and the curtains are made of silk. Like the Great Hall, the roof of the Ravenclaw tower is enchanted to match the sky outside. Bookshelves and bookcases are lined throughout the common room for students to read and sharpen their wits. After all, as their founder, Rowena, says: "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure". And Ravenclaws need to have wit, or else they won't be able to enter their own common room which requires a riddle instead of a password. In some ways it makes it easier than other common rooms to infiltrate but at the same time harder.

Ah, the Astronomy Tower, where students go to study the skies at night. Of course, it is also a popular romantic hang out for couples to sit and count the stars in their beloveds' eyes. It is also a popular place for students to go and read, study, hangout, sleep, or ponder about life and philosophy.
