Most students at Hogwarts get their wands here at Ollivanders, though there are others who get their wands elsewhere. Ollivander wands are made traditionally with one wand core and no special additions to the wood. And to be perfectly honest, this is the reason why the wands here are of special quality. They are simple, non-temperamental, and the cores and woods come only from the finest mythical creatures and trees.
