There are several departments within the Ministry of Magic building - which is located underground by the way - and each of them function to keep the magical world going like a well-oiled machine. In order to enter the Ministry of Magic just dial 62442 into a phonebooth located somewhere in London. It'll take you straight too the Atrium. Though, most would rather just floo there. Or Apparate, depending on which is more convenient. There are ten levels total in the Ministry of Magic: Level 1: Minister of Magic & Support Staff Offices. Level 2: Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Level 3: Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes.
