ENTRANCE HALL !
Every first year's first glimpse of the Hogwarts castle begins once the double oak doors opens and reveals to them the Entrance Hall. It's large and magnificent, built in grand magical splendor. The Grand Staircase, that would lead students up to the first floor of the castle, is made entirely of polished white marble that would often end up scuffed by troublemakers who love sliding down the railings. Located here are four large hourglasses filled with marbles symbolizing each of the four Hogwarts houses. The hourglasses are used to tally house points and automatically adjusts itself every time a prefect, head or professor adds or deducts points from students.

GREAT HALL !
The Great Hall is one of the most commonly used halls in all of Hogwarts because this is where students and staff gather for their meals. It is a beautiful hall where the roof is enchanted to reflect the current weather outside. On special occasions, the Great Hall would be charmed and decorated to suit the occasion, from Halloween to Christmas. The food cooked by house elves are absolutely divine. Breakfast, brunch and lunch are generally served throughout the day with snacks included during the off times until 5 pm when it closes so house elves can prepare the evening meal. Dinner is served only between 6 pm and 8 pm. The Great Hall closes for the night at 9 pm sharp and serves desserts and beverages until it closes.

CHAMBER OF RECEPTION !
The Chamber of Reception is the small room next to the Great Hall where first years would wait to be sorted on their first night at Hogwarts. Here is where the students trunks and pets are stored before being sent to their respective houses once they are sorted. It is also a popular make-out spot for students who wants to have a quickie before going off to class.

STAFF ROOM !
When professors want to relax, they come here to the staff room, which is guarded by two gargoyles that requires passwords before opening the doors to the room. Inside professors can sit and gossip about students, take a nap, catch up on old times. Students would often try to break into the staff room on a dare because rumor has it every student record - from grades, to blood status to even their favorite foods and health reports - is stored here in the staff room in an enchanted book. Who knows? Good luck getting past the gargoyles though.

PHOENIX MEMORIAL COURTYARD !
The Phoenix Memorial Courtyard is a new addition to the Hogwarts castle built after the end of the Second Wizarding War of Hogwarts. A large Phoenix statue stands in the middle of the courtyard, the name of everyone who died during the Battle of Hogwarts is engraved upon the Phoenix's wings. Benches and tables are scattered throughout the courtyard for students to relax. The Phoenix Memorial Courtyard is also a popular place for students to practice dueling, believing that the memory of those lost would help them in their efforts.
